Russ admits that he’s always found numbers easy and appealing. Even as far back as high school, when he attended The George School in Bucks County, his campus job was in finance, as the school banker. Later, Russ cofounded and managed a manufacturer’s marketing firm and founded “Tri-State Open House,” a half-hour television show advertising real estate in the Delaware Valley.

Russ’s entrepreneurial acumen is only exceeded by his passion for helping people achieve their goals and find peace of mind. “It’s a great feeling to be able to help my clients make better decisions confidently and quickly,” he says. The issues range from: “How much should I set aside each month?” to “what’s the best way to finance my car?” to strategic advice for upcoming C-suite executives as they negotiate contracts.

His specialty is working with non-traditional couples and families, whose situations pose “out-of-the-box” challenges. “Only 1 in 3 families is headed by a US-only, married couple today,” says Russ. “But our tax laws and other regulations haven’t always caught up with that reality. It’s fun to solve the challenges, and rewarding to help my non-traditional clients obtain solid protections and benefits.”
